Volunteers who wish to mentor a scholarship recipient are always welcome. It's important for our students to know that we want to give more than financial support. Showing an interest in their progress in school, offering career suggestions, and encouragement when needed is not only a valuable contribution to a student's education, but also a rewarding experience for the mentor. It may involve a phone call, a meeting for a cup of coffee or an e-mail message.
